Friday Night Summer Series 2008

Hello FNSSer's.

I have been given the choice of 2 venues for the final round. Airfield Farm, near Market Harborough, and Borough Hill at Daventry.

Now Airfield Farm as a lot of riders know is an easy course, local to the club and I should be able to get the club house there, with toilets and lights.

Borough Hill, is not so local, but produces what most people would call a better if not harder course, but you have the locals tearing down the tape every race and will there be trouble because of the BBQ.

So I am putting the vote out to the riders. A or B

Neil, With the advantage of the faclities, & off-road parking etc. against a lack facilities, & the possibility of upsetting the locals, Airfield farm gets my vote.

Airfield Farm for me. Closer to home and I think the handicap race might work better on an 'easy' course than at Borough Hill.

Borough Hill, last event may as well have a good track - isn't that what it's about?

I live on Borough Hill. I don't suck. Personally I would prefer Borough Hill because it saves me trying to find someone to take me who may well otherwise be busy. At the end of the day though it doesn't matter as this is a none-scoring round yeah?

I can now confirm Airfield farm has been booked.
There will be a bit of building work and staking out, so I don't know how the course will be laid out, but it will be fun :o

Airfield Farm....might be tempted to put on some lycra and try and turn the clock back. Would the circuit include the ditch with killer stinging nettles, the compost heap and the mad dash down the runway? Some more contours added to the circuit recently :O)
